Jay Hiner creates eye-catching giant bubbles using a home-made wand and non-toxic solution Tuesday September 25, 2012 at Cheney Lake in east Anchorage. Always interested in science and chemistry, Hiner began making large bubbles only about three weeks ago. He calls them his daytime northern lights. Making the bubbles keeps him relaxed and happy, he said.
