State roads officials say Kalifornsky Beach Road has reopened near Soldotna.
A bypass has been built on the loop road, which was closed about 10 days ago after flooding caused a washout.
The temporary bypass on K-Beach Road, as it's known, is made of gravel with two lanes. It will remain in place until permanent repairs are made to the original road.
