Thank you, Steve Wright of Soldotna (“Obama haters: Get mellow,” Oct. 5).

We live in the United States of America. We have freedom of speech, religion and, among others, freedom of choice.

Might I suggest to those of you who harbor such hatred, check your facts for truth and substance and seek support for your mental well being.

I look forward to four more years, and I am so grateful that I live in a country where I am free to vote without intimidation or suppression.
