Sunday is deadline for Alaskans to register to vote in the Nov. 6 general election. You can register online, and regional offices of the state Division of Elections will be open from noon to 4 p.m.
Registration forms can be filled out on the Division of Elections website.
If voters need to update their registrations, such a change of address, they need to do it by midnight, the elections division said in an announcement last week. Forms can be submitted to any division office in person or by fax or emailed to elections@alaska.gov.
The division's offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Mat-Su and Nome will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The Anchorage office is at 2525 Gambell St., Suite 100. Other office addresses and phone and fax numbers can be found here.
Anyone updating or completing a new voter registration after Sunday will have to vote with a questioned ballot on election day.
The division's website also has info on registration status, candidates and polling places.
