From People magazine:

Palin – who's known to treat houseguests to a smorgasbord of homemade treats such as moose chili, chocolate cream pies, pecan pies and lemon meringue pies – wrote, "Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!"

Palin was featured in Runners World magazine in 2009 and in her early 40s posted a 3 hour 59 minute time in the Humpy's Marathon in Anchorage -- faster than the actual marathon time achieved by vice presidential candidate and self-described "fast" runner Paul Ryan when he was a college student. No word on a publication date for Palin's book, People says. Read more: Sarah Palin says she's writing a fitness book
