Thank you so very much for the great stories about Alaska Natives both last Sunday (Oct. 7) and this Sunday (Oct. 14). I just enjoyed it so much.

I’m from Alakanuk and when my older brother and I see each other we only speak Yupik. There are so many ideas, etc. that can be expressed succinctly in Yupik but lose something in translation. Thank you very much for the good reading. My children all have their Yupik names even though they were born here in Anchorage to a non-Native father and me.
