UAF's Kunyk is CCHA Offensive Player of the Week

Posted on October 29, 2012

Cody Kunyk was UAF's leading scorer as a freshman two seasons ago, its leading scorer as a sophomore last season and -- surprise! -- leads the Nanooks in scoring as a junior this season.

And he's coming off a four-point weekend at Ferris State (Mich.) that earned today him the CCHA's Offensive Player of the Week award.

Kuynk racked two assists in a 6-3 loss on Friday and one goal and one helper in a 3-2 win Saturday. He owns 2-4--6 totals in six games this season and 29-39--68 totals in 80 career games.
