ANCHORAGE – On October 25th, 2012, Fine Point was recognized with the Marketing Visionary award by the American Marketing Association Alaska Chapter for the work that they did with Bean's Cafe. Fine Point helped Bean’s Cafe utilize online tools, social media, and community groups to encourage potential donors. As a result, mailer donations doubled and online donations tripled over last year. Bean's Cafe also saw an 83 percent increase from Pick.Click.Give. making it the top recipient for 2012.

Ross Johnston of Fine Point said, “We are pleased with the award but these results would never have been possible if it were not for Ken Miller, the director of development at Bean’s Café, and his willingness to try new things and engage several different community groups.”
