To the family of Zackery Green, what an enlightened and uplifting piece you composed to honor this young man! A lyrical and worthy tribute (Obituaries, Oct. 27).

Pain and loss still came through but they didn’t overshadow his creativity or the joy he spread.

You have inspired me to consider penning my own obit to give to my family before I step onto the launching pad. I prefer celebration, whimsy and humor to tears.
