Former Alaska Aces center Chris Langkow is on the move -- the ECHL's Reading Royals have traded him to the South Carolina Stingrays for future considerations.
In South Carolina, he'll find plenty of Alaska connections.
Langkow, who earned 2-2--4 and +3 totals in nine games with Reading, heads to a Stingrays team that is off to a slow start (4-7-1).
Also in South Carolina: forward Hunter Bishop of Fairbanks (4-3--7 and even in 9 games), former Aces defenseman Ryan Turek (0-4--4 and - yikes! -- in 9 games); former UAA defenseman Luka Vidmar (0-1--1 and even in 8 games) and former UAF captain Kevin Petovello (0-1--1 and -1 in 5 games).
And the Stingrays are coached by former UAA skater Spencer Carbery.
