UAF closed a strong CCHA weekend at Ohio State tonight with a 3-1 victory over the Buckeyes, which gave the Nanooks a win and a shootout loss in Ohio (Ohio State won a six-round shootout for a 2-1 win Friday).

John Keeney made 32 saves for the Nanooks, who unloaded 45 shots on goal.

The game was tied 1-1 nearly midway through the third period when Jarret Granberg's first goal of the season earned UAF a 2-1 lead. Adam Henderson's short-handed strike with 1:18 remaining sealed the deal.

Colton Beck scored UAF's first goal on the power play.

The Nanooks improved to 5-3-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the CCHA.
