You would not know it if you gather all your information from what we mistakenly call “the news media.” However, not all of the folks on Long Island and the East Coast are “mad as heck and screaming for help.”

My nephew, Brian Adams, works for the Federal Western Area Power Association (WAPA) in California. With help from the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, he flew a crew of over 60 lineman and equipment to Long Island to assist in restoring power.

According to him, folks are coming up to them offering coffee and sandwiches while they are working and line the streets cheering and clapping when they get the power restored.

Just think folks should know.
