Siku Construction opens Seattle office

Anchorage, Alaska (November 15, 2012)Anchorage based SIKU Construction LLC has opened an office in Seattle, UIC Construction Services (UICCS) General Manager David Klopp announced today.  The new Seattle Division will concentrate on owner representation, pre-construction  and construction management services for clients in the West Coast of the United States. The office will be led by newly hired General Manager Bill Polis.   Polis resides in Seattle and has been active in the local construction industry for more than 25 years.


SIKU Construction, and its subsidiary SIKU CxA professional services, encompass a broad range of construction services. It provides turnkey preconstruction and construction services for a wide range of clients. From construction management services to final commissioning SIKU is a single-source provider for planning and construction needs.
SIKU CxA was created to the honor of the Inupiaq values, “Respect Nature”.  Services provide building owners with accurate commissioning, systematic building evaluations to reduce energy consumption, responsible building operations evaluations  including operations and maintenance, and professional training of maintenance personal. These services can lower building operating cost and energy use.


SIKU Construction, an approved SBA 8(a) company, is one of four subsidiaries under the UICCS umbrella.  UICCS is a holding company of Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation, of Barrow, Alaska.
