The snowboarding film "Resonance" is making the rounds across the country's art house theaters as part of Absinthe Films' Sphere of Influence Tour, which teams with local, environmentally based nonprofits. Tourney time

Tip-off for the 35th annual Great Alaska Shootout is Tuesday for the women's teams and Wednesday for the men and runs through Saturday, Nov. 24.
