UAA picks up another recruit

Posted on November 20, 2012

Recruiting has been bountiful for UAA this Thanksgiving week -- OK, granted, word of a Seawolves recruit for the second straight day involves a Canadian, and Canada's Thanksgiving was back in October, but, whatever.

Anyhow, according to Chris Heisenberg's excellent recruiting site, the Seawolves have secured a commitment for next fall from Zack Rassell, a 20-year-old forward from the Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Rassell, a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder from Calgary, owns 11-12--23 totals in 19 games to lead his club in scoring.

A season ago, he posted 9-21--30 totals in 41 games for Canmore.
