Enough, already. Legislators, it’s time to get off these topics 1) give the oil companies a tax break and 2) more discussion on “social issues.”

It’s time, legislators, to get the gas line going now. We have people in rural and remote areas who are cold. We can do this ourselves. If we wait for a grateful oil company to build this we’ll be waiting a long time. We know that; we’ve waited already.

Alaska can build this. If we have money to give back, surely we can invest money in this energy project. We can sell public stock to help get this moving. We need those big Alaska thinkers of yesteryear back.
