Raiders suspend McClain two games

Published: November 30, 2012

Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was suspended two games for conduct detrimental to the team.

The Raiders did not divulge the exact reason for the suspension in a release Friday. He is eligible to return Dec. 10.

McClain did not attend practice Thursday after a reported argument with coach Dennis Allen on Wednesday.

"There's going to be consequences for his actions," Allen said after practice Thursday. "It's a team related-issue, and I don't really want to get into the details of it. But we asked him not to come to practice today."

McClain, in his third season out of Alabama, has 60 tackles and one sack in 11 games. He was selected with the eighth overall pick of the 2010 draft and has 244 tackles in 41 games.
