I am using this medium to express a strong complaint against ANHC, the new Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center so strongly advertised.
I am beginning to think more about Canada’s and Obama’s “wait health care.”
No way am I a street person but am somewhat short of funds, as a lot of people on Medicare and Social Security are. I need my last six teeth pulled and replaced with lower dentures.
They were quick to set me up with an appointment next week. Lo and behold! When I said I was on Medicare and would need to use their sliding scale of charges, it was immediately six weeks before they could get me in even for an examination.
Whatever happened to my two-week, December appointment? It was automatically erased like magic when I suggested some assistance with payment. Only some suggestion of help and the appointment was gone.
That is too bad, six weeks.
