UAF outshot last-place Bowling Green by more than a 2 to 1 margin Friday night, but lost 3-2 in a CCHA game at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks.

Bowling Green's Andrew Hammond stopped 39 shots, including 21 of 22 in the third period, to send the Nanooks to their third straight loss and stretch their winless streak to six games.

Chad Gehon and Max Dummond scored for UAF (6-7-3, 4-6-2), which sits sixth in the 11-team league. Bowling Green is 2-9-3, 1-6-2 CCHA.
