Wasilla woman held after creating disturbance

Published: December 9, 2012

A disturbance Saturday night at a residence in the Wasilla area resulted in a woman being charged with assault, criminal mischief, driving under the influence, and providing a false report, Alaska State Troopers said Sunday.

Dana L. McMahon, 36, of Wasilla drove to the residence on East Tex-Al Drive and acted as if she was going to run into the property owner, troopers said. She “then purposely drove into two parked vehicles,” troopers said. Troopers responded to the disturbance around 11:40 p.m. Troopers said that McMahon also provided a false report implicating others, and was driving under the influence.

McMahon was being held Sunday at the Mat-Su Pretrial facility in Palmer.
