Anchorage — Chugach Electric Association reported a raven flew into a transformer at the Jewel Lake substation and knocked out power to 4,700 to 4,800 customers shortly after 3 p.m. today.
Power was back on about half an hour later, said Chugach spokeswoman Sarah Wiggers. The raven was dead.
