Northrim Bank is helping people in need this holiday season and through 2013.
Northrim Bank just completed their annual United Way campaign and it was the bank’s most successful effort to date.
The goal for 2012 was ambitious: get $60,000 in pledges from Northrim employees—an amount that is approximately $5,000 more than what was raised last year, and $10,000 more than two years ago—toward reaching a total campaign goal of $90,000 that would include a corporate match and other monies.
At the end of the campaign, the goal was exceeded. Employee gifts totaled more than $75,000. Add to that the corporate match and other funds that came in through innovative fundraising events like the Give Change to Make Change donation bucket; a baked goods and coffee cart sale; Kandy Kudos; and photos with bank executives dressed as superheroes; the campaign raised more than $117,000, exceeding the already ambitious goal by nearly 40%.
