Looks like it's a go for Gomez tonight

Posted on December 21, 2012

Looks like Scott Gomez will be back in the Alaska Aces' lineup tonight.

The club activated the NHL center today. He's missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but Aces spokesman Josh Bogorad said Gomez is expected to play tonight in the middle game of a three-game series against Stockton at Sullivan Arena.

The Aces also placed veteran defenseman Sean Curry on reserve with a lower-body injury.

Also, the Aces signed former UAA defenseman Brad Gorham of Anchorage, who is an engineer here in town and proved helpful earlier this season when he played three games for them at a time they were banged up on the blue line.
