Former Alaska Aces winger Scott Howes -- aka Howie -- continues to torch Central Hockey League goaltenders.
Howes scored two goals, including the game-winning, power-play strike in overtime tonight -- and added an assist to propel the Allen Americans to a 3-2 win over the Wichita Thunder.
Howes' second two-goal game in two nights gives him six multiple-goal games this season and he also owns 10 multiple-point games. In just 19 games, he owns 19-11--30 totals.
He leads the league in goals (19), power-play goals (10) and power-play points (15).
So, the 2011 Kelly Cup MVP is earning his keep.
