Theft Caller reported his hamster had been pinched, taken from its cage inside a parked vehicle while the caller was inside Safeway. A short time later, the caller reported his rodent, apparently not stolen after all, had been enticed back to its home by a trail of food.
Animal Caller reported his dog was missing from the back of his pickup truck. A few minutes later he called back to report having found his dog.
Suspicious Person/Activity Caller requested an officer investigate the source of an alarm clock-type sound coming from a dumpster. Officers did so, and located a garbage bag stuffed with pornographic reading material and single beeping smoke detector.
Traffic Crime An officer conducted a vehicle stop for some equipment violations and found an argumentative driver who claimed to have a valid drivers license out of Washington. Patrick Thomas Murray, 32 yoa, was later charged with Driving while License Suspended/Revoked after the officer was able to verify that Murray had lied about his license status.
