After reading Richard Mauer’s piece about ALEC and its influence on Alaska’s Legislature I feel horrified! Our Juneau bunch was elected by the people and now that they are headed back into office they will put the agenda of an out-of-touch special interest “think tank” ahead of all Alaskans! None of their policies perpetuate anything but the greed of special interests. 

Why does this state feel compelled to let a majority of Republicans run it? It will be bad for all of us.
