May I respond to Ron Michelson’s letter (Dec. 25) objecting to my suggestion that we repeal the Second Amendment?

When was the last time a state of the Union called up a well-regulated militia of citizens armed with their own guns? How obsolete does a law have to be before we allow the sun to set on it?
