Nancy Lake State Recreation Area closes to snowmachines on Jan. 7
(Willow, AK) – The Mat-Su Area Office of Alaska State Parks announces that effective Monday, Jan. 7, the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area will close to all snow vehicle traffic.
The rangers have determined that, due to the warmer temperatures, there is not sufficient snow cover to protect the underlying vegetation.
