More movement with Alaska connections

Posted on January 9, 2013

Man, guys these days are headed everywhere -- from the ECHL to the AHL, the AHL to the NHL, from nowhere (hockey-wise) to the ECHL -- and Alaska connections are naturally part of the drill.

Former UAA winger Josh Lunden, who plays for the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers, has been loaned to St. John's of the AHL. Lunden in 21 games for Vegas put up 6-10--16 and +1 totals.

Also, the ECHL rights to former Alaska Aces defenseman T.J. Fast were traded from Greenville to Bakersfield. Checking a couple of hockey databases, it doesn't appear T.J. was playing anywhere this season, so we'll see if he turns up in Bako.
