National Pancake Day means free pancakes at IHOP

Published: January 11, 2013

Attention pancake lovers: International House of Pancakes is offering free pancakes on Feb. 5, also known as National Pancake Day. The generous offering serves as part of IHOP's efforts to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. A stack of buttermilk pancakes goes to all willing to make a donation.

To gather funds, IHOP is selling “Miracle Balloons” for $1 or $5 apiece. Those who purchase a $5 balloon get a $5 discount on their next visit. The balloons will be on sale all of January leading up to the fundraiser.

You can donate at any of the three locations in Anchorage. The addresses are bellow.

501 East Tudor Road

1106 North Muldoon Road, No.155

111000 Old Seward Highway

All donations collected in the national campaign will be given to hospitals in the communities that the money was raised in, sending the funds raised here in Anchorage to the Providence Children’s Hospital.
