Feb. 4         A New Take on Oil Taxes

Egan Center, lobby level

Noon – 1 p.m. 

Bruce Tangeman, Deputy Commissioner of the State of Alaska Department of Revenue, will discuss the administration's oil tax proposal, give an update on how the bill has been received by the Legislature, and review the strategic plan for moving it forward.

Feb. 11       Neal Fried’s 2013 Economic Forecast

Dena’ina Center, Second Floor

Noon – 1 p.m. 

Neal Fried, economist for the Alaska Department of Labor & Workforce Development, will discuss local and state industry trends and give economic projections for Anchorage business into 2013.

Feb. 25            Executive Update: NANA Development Corporation

Dena’ina Center, Second Floor

Noon – 1 p.m. 

Helvi Sandvik, president of NANA Development Corporation, will provide an update on the $2 billion Native corporation, including details on its new downtown offices, upcoming projects and its contributions to 
Alaska’s workforce.
