I was in a car accident Tuesday evening, Jan. 8, at the intersection of Lake Otis Parkway and 36th/Providence Drive. Fortunately, I’m OK and the other driver was not harmed too terribly.

But I wanted to thank the lovely woman who witnessed the incident and was a calming force in the midst of all the chaos. The officers were also gentle and attentive and even our UAA Campus Police came to our aide. I feel blessed to have survived it all and that the harrowing experience was made less terrifying by the kindness of many. Thank you all!
