The Toronto Blue Jays on Friday signed catcher Josh Thole to a two-year contract with a club option for the 2015 season.
Acquired from the Mets in the R.A. Dickey trade last month, Thole hit .234 with one homer and 21 RBI in 104 games for the Mets in 2012.
The 26-year-old has a career batting average of .261 with seven homers and 87 RBI in 308 career games with New York.
