Anchorage winger Tim Wallace, who was up in training camp with the Carolina Hurricanes, has been assigned back to AHL Charlotte after clearing waivers.
Wallace, 28, who has 73 games of NHL experience, owns 9-7--16 totals in 37 games with Charlotte this season.
Last season, he played 49 games in the NHL with the New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning.
