I’ve always assumed that U.S. presidents, upon their election to office, have felt some obligation to be president to all Americans. That is until our current president arrived on the scene. In my family we are hard-working Americans who are patriotic and strive to bring up our children according to Christian principles. Because we are Christian and conservative in our political views, I believe we are despised by President Obama. Rather than reach out to all and attempt to be a uniter, he remains in campaign mode. His main objective seems to be the annihilation of the Republican Party, eliminating all opposition to his liberal agenda. If he is successful in this endeavor, it will be a dark day for America. Elections have consequences, and I wish the most recent one had turned out differently.
