North Pole's Copley is WCHA Rookie of the Week

Michigan Tech freshman goaltender Phoenix Copley of North Pole continues to rack honors.

Copley today was named the WCHA's Rookie of the Week, marking the third league weekly honor he has bagged -- he was previously Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week.

Copley got the nod this week after stopped 56-of 58 shots in a victory and tie with Bemidji State. He stopped 25 shots last Saturday for his third shutout, a 4-0 win, then stopped 31 shots Saturday in a 2-2 deadlock.

For the season, Copley is 4-8-1 with a 2.86 goals-against average and .909 save percentage.
