Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.
Please meet Serenity, an adult, spayed female, pit bull mix. Calm, easy-going, docile and very sweet, Serenity lives up to her name. She's very easy to walk and handle, rides great in the car, and has a gentle, good-natured disposition. Curious and bright, she loves petting and people. A real sweetheart! Special thanks to Ravenwood Vet Clinic in Eagle River for providing Serenity’s spay surgery free of charge — and reducing her adoption fee by $80! Serenity can now be adopted for $72, which includes her MOA dog license, vaccinations, and microchip.
Adoption update: Jester has been adopted :)
