Troopers identify man killed in Seward Highway crash

Published: January 24, 2013

Alaska State Troopers have identified a man killed in a Seward Highway crash Wednesday as Elisha O'Hara III, 55, of Anchorage.

O'Hara's vehicle, a red 2007 Hummer, was headed north on the highway and failed to navigate a turn near McHugh Creek, troopers said. It went off the road on the mountain side and smashed into a large boulder. No other vehicles were involved. O'Hara was the only occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
