CIC hockey tournament begins Monday

— Top-seeded South will meet No. 8 Bartlett at Ben Boeke Ice Arena on Monday in the first game of the Cook Inlet Conference hockey championships.

Fourth-seeded West and fifth-seeded East meet at the McDonald Center in Monday's other game.

On Tuesday, first-round play continues with defending champion Dimond taking on No. 7 Chugiak at Ben Boeke and No. 3 Service playing No. 6 Eagle River at the McDonald Center.

Semifinals games will be played Thursday. The championship game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Ben Boeke.

6:30 p.m. -- Dimond vs. Chugiak, Ben Boeke
