Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Hugo, an adult, male, pit bull mix.  Attentive, friendly and outgoing, this happy and handsome guy is very eager to please and really loves interacting with people. He is big and strong, but loves people and has a calm demeanor.  Alert and intelligent, he knows commands (including "high 5" and "sit pretty"), sits readily for his treats and takes them gently. Loving and lovable fellow--a very personable companion!  Hugo can be adopted for $152, which includes his neuter deposit, MOA dog license, vaccinations and microchip.
