New stage shows set to open in the coming week

With the end of the year's first month approaching, a myriad of plays are coming and going. While a number of performances came to a close this past weekend, taking their places is a collection of new shows for February. Here’s some of what you can look for now through the first week of February:
  
"Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls," 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31-Feb. 2, Feb. 3 at Sydney Laurence Theatre. Tickets are $23.
 
"Under :30," 8 p.m. Feb 1-2, and Feb. 8 at the Out North Contemporary Art House. Tickets are $20, $15 for military, students and senior citizens (60 and older).
 
Momentum Dance: "RetroSpirit," 8 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Sydney Laurence Theatre. Tickets are $20 and will cost $18 if you are military, a student or 62 and older.
 
"Clybourne Park," 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at Cyrano's Off Center Playhouse. Tickets are $18.50, $16.50 for military, students and senior citizens (62 and older).
 
"Jolly Roger, King of the Pirates," 7:00 p.m. Feb. 8 at APU's Grant Hall Theater. Tickets are $10, $8 for military, students and senior citizens, and $5 for youth younger than 12.
 
"A Shayna Maidel," 7 p.m. Jan 31-Feb. 2, 3 p.m. Feb. 3, 7 p.m. Feb. 7-8 at the Anchorage Community Theatre, with tickets selling at $15 for general admission, $13 for military, students and senior citizens, $12 for children under 12.
