As a lifelong Alaskan and taxpayer in this state, I would be more than willing to contribute $50 dollars a month to support our teachers and the Anchorage School District.

I currently have two children in the Anchorage School District and another entering in the next school year. My family cannot afford private school, so I’d like to do more to improve my children’s experience in the Anchorage School system and get the best education possible.

We may not be able to control where our tax dollars go, but we can control our community. If we all contribute Anchorage will have a much brighter future.
