Here's where the Aces sit at the two-thirds pole

Posted on February 5, 2013

Coming off a shootout loss and OT loss at Las Vegas -- and that makes three straight games beyond regulation for the Alaska Aces -- the Aces hit the two-thirds pole of the ECHL regular season (through 48 of 72 games) with the third-best record in their 10 ECHL seasons to this point.

At 32-11-5, the Aces own 69 points, one less than they did at this point last season and 10 less than they did at this point in the 2005-06 Kelly Cup-winning season, when they were a ridiculous 38-7-3 after 48 games.

In any event, check out how the Aces have done to this point in their history:

2012-13 -- 32-11-5, 69 points

2011-12 -- 32-10-6, 70 points

2010-11 -- 27-19-2, 56 points

2009-10 -- 23-21-4, 50 points

2008-09 -- 27-18-3, 57 points

2007-08 -- 24-20-4, 52 points

2006-07 -- 33-13-2, 68 points

2005-06 -- 38-7-3, 79 points

2004-05 -- 29-15-4, 62 points

2003-04 -- 27-17-4, 58 points
