Coming off a shootout loss and OT loss at Las Vegas -- and that makes three straight games beyond regulation for the Alaska Aces -- the Aces hit the two-thirds pole of the ECHL regular season (through 48 of 72 games) with the third-best record in their 10 ECHL seasons to this point.
At 32-11-5, the Aces own 69 points, one less than they did at this point last season and 10 less than they did at this point in the 2005-06 Kelly Cup-winning season, when they were a ridiculous 38-7-3 after 48 games.
