The NHL took a chunk out of Brandon Dubinsky's portfolio today -- the league fined the Columbus Blue Jackets winger from Anchorage $10,000 for his boarding major penalty against Los Angeles Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi on Tuesday night.
Dubinsky escaped suspension, so there's that.
And, granted, he makes a pro-rated $3.75 million this season, so it's not like the fine is going to cause him to make personal budget cuts like dropping HBO on his cable package.
Still, 10K is a hit.
