Published: February 6, 2013

The Blog is so old he can't even remember what prompted him to look this up, or how he stumbled upon it tonight, but former UAA winger/defenseman Curtis Leinweber is killing it across the pond for the Edinburgh Capitals in the Great Britain-based Elite Ice Hockey League.

Leinweber owns 13-19--32 totals, with seven power-play strikes, in 23 games for the Caps. Former UAA winger Jade Portwood, his teammate in green and gold for four seasons and still his teammate, missed nearly three months with an injury but has been back playing games for a month with Edinburgh and owns 7-11--18 totals in 21 games. Portwood is 6-2--8 in 11 games since coming back from that injury.
