Aces get Lafranchise back from AHL again

Published: February 11, 2013

With any luck, the Alaska Aces will have defenseman Kane Lafranchise back for more than two games this time.

Lafranchise is returning to the Aces from Houston of the AHL, where he played one game after a two-game stop with the Aces in Las Vegas, which followed nine games with AHL Oklahoma City.

Though the former Seawolves blueliner has missed 19 of the Aces' 51 games, he still leads the club's defensemen in scoring with 4-19--23 totals in 32 games.

In other ECHL-AHL news, former UAA winger Josh Lunden has been promoted from ECHL Las Vegas to AHL St. John's, which is coached by former Aces bench boss Keith McCambridge.
