— The Tap Root Public House in Spenard has a new 164-inch high-definition projection screen, and they're going to start putting it to weekly use.

The bar and restaurant will host Movie Mondays, with the first screening scheduled for this coming Monday, Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction." And while the video will be projected on the Tap Root's new screen, the audio will be played back from the music venue's sound system.

And maybe the biggest selling point: Admission is free. The kitchen will also be open, so you can take care of dinner and a movie at the same time, a la Bear Tooth.

Below are the movies scheduled through March 11. Showtime for each is 6 p.m., and each is rated R.

Feb. 18 - "Pulp Fiction"

Feb. 25 - "The Big Lebowski"

March 4 - "Pink Floyd: The Wall"

March 11 - "The Blues Brothers"
