Nebraska-Omaha freshman defenseman Brian Cooper of Anchorage is back home to play a series against UAA this weekend, so he's been in the news -- and his older brother, Erik, is likewise garnering some attention.

Erik Cooper, a freshman forward at two-time, Division III defending national champion St. Norbert (Wis.) has been named to the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association's All-Rookie Team.

Erik Cooper owns 6-9--15 totals in 21 games, including five power-play strikes.

The Green Knights (20-5-1), who have three of the last five national titles, are ranked No. 5 in the nation.
