The Blaine Amendment Kristina Johannes discusses in her Compass article (Feb. 16) sounds like a good thing to me. It prevents my tax dollars from paying for a religious education (e.g., being taught that “Creationism” is fact and evolution is untruth) for her child.
I believe in the separation of church and state, as did our founding fathers.
