Anchorage — The Dimond girls basketball team picked up three Cook Inlet Conference wins last week to improve to 10-0 and remain atop the league standings. The Service boys also remained atop the CIC standings, despite losing its first league game to East and falling to 9-1.
This week's schedule features a couple of battles for second place. West and Bartlett are tied for second in the girls standings, both owning 8-2 records, and Bartlett will visit West on Wednesday.
The Dimond boys sits alone in second with a 7-3 record, but are just one game ahead of East (6-4), which visits Dimond on Wednesday.
